White water rafting adventure!

The day before I flew to Australia from Bali, I did one of the most adventurous things I have done for a long time! I did a 16km white water rafting trip. After a months working in Bali designing Fairyloves exciting new range, I was most relieved to spend the day upon a beautiful river, flowing where it flowed and all the joy and fun that came with it. The nature that surrounded the river was breathtaking, rice paddies, mountains, and waterfalls. The water itself was beautifully clean and lovely and cool.

It was such a laugh. I have never really considered myself an outdoorsy, sporty kind of girl, though I do love to be in nature. But I can’t wait to go again. I went with my two lovely Balinese friends Ayu and Sri. They help me with my work in Bali, so it was really wonderful to do something so different and fun together.

We spent 2 and a half hours squealing, laughing, paddling quite hard and just soaking it all up. It was an experience that filled me with light and joy. Our guide was amazing and worked really hard. Some of the ride was quite hairy but I loved every minute of it. There were other rafts out too and the comradeship was brilliant with lots of cheeky splashing and fun thrown in.

I didn’t find it at all scary, it is a weird feeling though to be about to go over a sheer drop and to have no idea how far you have to go down (4 metres). It’s a good thing it all happened so quickly. There wasn’t time to worry about what was about to happen! The looks on my face are quite hilarious!!

It is so amazing to do something so different! I endeavour to try more new and adventurous things. It is good for the fairy in me and I shall have you know that I did it in full Fairylove dress. Frilly knickers and lycra leggings are the perfect white water rafting outfit! Ever blessed ♥ ♥ ♥

Kundalini rising.

Wowee! Far out brussel sprout, ain’t life grand and precious?

I have had quite a day! I have recently started doing some Kundalini yoga online at https://www.yogaglo.com/register.php.

I feel like it is really taking me deep inside myself and I feel ultra aware of all that is happening for me!

I have been working quite hard here in Bali, and I love what I am doing. I have been taking great care of myself, lots of amazing raw food, yoga, exercise, meditation, the works. But working hard is still working hard! I am quite driven naturally and being here on my own in Bali and consciously trying not to read too many books and watch too many films….If I’m not working it doesn’t feel quite right. Also there are deadlines, as I leave for Aussie in 5 days.

BUT…..Everything is going beautifully and my timing is perfect! I am doing an amazing job and everything is coming together with lots of time to spare! Yes yes yes! That’s the way it is.

So many decisions to make and while I quite enjoy crunching numbers all morning…(along with all the other various jobs in my day) all work and no play makes for a very dull fairy!

I was so happy tonight to spend some time with the lovely Sri, who translates between my tailor and I. I think we are quite similar, we talked about life and spirit and we pulled some angel cards together, Twas lovely! Always so many laughs when we are together.

So I feel that the energy is rising! I walk on the beach and watch that big beautiful red ball of sun in the sky and I give so much thanks. Thanks that I have these beautiful talented people to make my lovely fairy designs come to life, thanks that I have been driving a motor scooter here for 1 month with people not looking where they are going at all…and I am safe. Thanks for my health and my will and all the love that constantly surrounds me.

I am in the now and loving all of me! It is not always easy but I have all the tools that I need if I listen. I am guided by what I love and what makes me feel good and if I slip up every now and again I accept that life is a journey and I am doing fine!

EVER BLESSED ♥

Island of the gods.

View out of my bedroom.

I am feeling very happy to be on the Island of the gods at present! I am really enjoying being in Bali and sucking up all the many joys it has to offer. I have moved twice already and I haven’t been here a week yet! I have met some lovely folk and now I am happily settled in my new home for the next few weeks! It is gorgeous and such a lovely space to come home to after driving around in the city all day fabric shopping. My new place overlooks beautiful rice paddies and is within walking distance of an amazing health food store and restaurant that does dangerously good chocolate cakes!!!

Choc mousse cake to die for!!!

The perfect antidote to a busy day!

There have been many hold-ups since my arrival, finding new places to stay, bad internet connection, new English phone locked and I can’t use it here….. But nevertheless I have been so very cheerful and happy in myself! Loving it! I read somewhere recently that whatever you are doing, to consciously do it with love and I am having amazing results! I am so in the moment and aware and everything is flowing…..I have had to catch myself a few times but it really works like magic ♥

Fairy bliss ♥

Wooohooo! Coconut love ♥

I had my first meeting with my wonderful tailor last night, Gusti. He really has the most amazing smile. Currently he is working on lots of new and very exciting fairy samples and I am champing at the bit to see what he comes back with. Our first meeting went so well and as usual it was full of laughs! I love my job!

Up up and away.

I am ready to leave the UK’s shores. I have a heart full of love, inspiration, trust and am feeling all my many blessings showered upon me.

This morning Emma fairy and I did our last run to the Leominster post office in the rainbow truck. It was glorious…we sang songs all the way there and all the way back and I felt a heightened sense of everything. We wore our wings in town and everyone said lovely things to me, knowing they won’t see me around till June next year! Emma and I also did our last photoshoot of the year and had our last poached eggs and chai together.

Halloween photoshoot.

When Jason Fairy picked me up, the sun was shining brightly and all my goodbyes were said and bags all packed. We have just had a business meeting about all the new stock and designs that I will have made up in Bali. It’s so very exciting. My accomodation in Bali is a brand new villa and I will have a housemate. A Norwegian student.

My Bali villa accomodation.

I am probably more organised than ever and feel like I have tied up any loose ends. I have left Emma fairy in charge at Fairy HQ where she will be packing up orders, building Fairylove an Ebay shop and making wings for the next 2 weeks until Sophie fairy comes back from India. So all is in fairy capable hands!

Lots of new exciting plans are in the pipeline for Fairylove next year and there is creativity in the air.

There is something quite magical about spending your life split between 3 countries. In England it is full of colour and festivals and working and playing very hard. Life is full of community and dressing up and magic. It is living life in a fairy bubble. Bali is working hard but in a totally different way. It’s so creative and fun and can also be so challenging. When I am there I get a lot of me time also. I work all day and have evenings to myself. Time to focus on health and yoga and exercise and singing. I do love it! Aussie is relatively new to me as i lived full time in the Uk for 8 years. Aussie this year is lots of change and new experiences. ADVENTURE!!!!!

So all in all I am one very lucky fairy for which I remember to give thanks most days! Life is never dull and I have friends and family all over the world. Yay!!!

Fairy autumn wishes to everyone ♥

Magic magic everywhere!

Another summer of love and magic done and dusted. The glitter is still swirling around in the aftermath and the magic is still very much alive, it can just be harder to find when the festivals are over! I am sitting here in the Fairylove HQ workshop in my fox onesie . I am in front of the computer and finding the magic in plans for the future.

This weekend with all the gorgeous fairies at our staff weekend. A few weeks here at fairy HQ with the lovely Emma fairy and catching up with friends. Flying to Bali to work with my lovely tailors on our new designs. This will be a month in the sunshine riding around on my moto and being creative with lots of yoga, singing and beach walking thrown in. Flying home to family and friends  in Australia and spending a month in my waterfall house growing vegies, making wings and getting ready to my first Aussie festival in over 10 years. Doing a 6 week fundraiser to raise funds for a fairy bus and fuel to take the Fairylove magic out into some of the Aboriginal communities in the heart of Australia and sharing the love, inspiration and magic with these beautiful folk! Hopefully getting the bus and painting it up rainbow glitter stylee and filling it with all of my fairy dress-ups and wing making paraphernalia.

That should bring me to around April/March and may see some friends and I setting off on a magical adventure into the outback with love in our hearts to make a documentary on whatever happens next! So very much excitement in these very exciting times!!! Let the fun continue and blessings abound! Love is everywhere for those with eyes to see!

Burlesque beauties come out to play!

I am learning so much about expressing feelings and how much it transports you and those around you into the present moment! A moment that can then be full of growth and transformation and positivity. We are the ones we have been waiting for and we can get to wherever we are going together in unity and love!

I have done my first festival of the season and it was wonderful! I took my juicer and made juice everyday and ate lots of raw food. I had such a great time with all the folk there and felt so much love and appreciation from everyone there about what we do! Yay Fairylove!

Sophie fairy and I have been spending lots of time in the fairy office at our computers, with a bit of wing making thrown in and now we are getting the truck re-stocked for our next 2 festivals. Our only double this year. Camp Bestival which is a family dress-up festival at beautiful Lulworth castle and Barefoot festival which is a really lovely burlesque festival with lots of workshops! Soooooooo with all this time at our desks we got to feeling that all work and no play is not really for us fairies. We decided that after work we would do a photoshoot with some of our very amazing new wigs. Magic!!!  We were instantly transformed and felt amazing! Fairy photoshoots come highly recommended by me! It is so much fun and makes you feel wonderful! Then you get to have a slideshow at the end of it all! Move over office fairies the burlesque beauties are out!!!

So much love xxx

(Oh and our new wigs shall be available online soon!)

So great to be back at beautiful fairy HQ.

My first week in back in Blighty has been quite calm considering the festival season is already underway!

The fairy office.

It’s been so wonderful to come home to Fairy HQ where there is community and love and beautiful nature everywhere I look. Together with the help of some of our dream team we got the truck ready to leave for our first big festival. Sophie fairy had already done so much that there was little to do. It’s the first year that it wasn’t me doing most of the packing of trucks and organising stock and all the other bits that need doing before the season kicks off! It has been amazing to hand the job over. Sophie fairy has risen to the challenge most beautifully….Wooohoooo!

Freshly dyed frilly knickers and leggings!

The next day after we waved the truck and fairies goodbye (off to the Isle of wight festival), I came down with a terrible flu and have spent the last 3 days getting a little work done and then having to be still as I felt so wretched. On the positive side I think it’s slowed me down and helped me fully arrive in England.

It has been lovely to see all the new creations that I designed and that our lovely tailors in Indonesia made for us! So many gorgeous things and it’s always so nice to see the responses of the fairies when they get to see them for the first time.

All in all it is wonderful to be back in the fairy workshop and now that I am feeling a bit better, am wanting to do about 10 things at once. I am making lists and enjoying being back in the company of all our lovely fairies.

Glitter station.

Freshly created.

A fairies welcome home and birthday movie.

On returning home to Australia this year I was welcomed home by some nearest and dearest at my beautiful forest home. My dear friend Nathalie fairy, who has worked with us at festivals in the UK and who is also mother to my beautiful goddaughter put together this fantastic video of my party and has just sent it to me! What a wonderful surprise! Ever blessed and loving it!
So much gratitude for all my glorious friends all over the world and the love I share with them all. Fairies definitely have more fun! Love love love xxxxx

Hangin with the fairies.

Javi lives in Amsterdam.

Today I spent some quality time with the HANG FAIRIES. Two lovely lads that came to stay at Wanganui with their beautiful instruments. I always wanted a hang from the first time I heard one! It’s like fairy music. They look like UFO’s and sound divine. It was great to hear the 2 played together.

It was no trouble to convince them both that they would look fabulous in Fairylove tu-tu’s and fairy wings. There was some posing in the garden (my neighbours dad got involved) and then a performance on the verandah! A lovely way to spend the afternoon and I definitely want to see more fella’s in fairy wear! Suits you sir!

Love it! Gabrielle in green hails from San Francisco.

We told Des in the middle not to knock it till he tried it!

Rainbow warriors on the super highway, building bridges of love!

Yesterday i was very honoured to share some time with an Aboriginal elder called Wiruungga. What a character!

Wiruungga sampling our tasty bush tucker!

He came up to visit with a friend of mine. We all went straight up to the waterfall as the sun was shining! I spent the next hour sitting under a rainbow with rainbow sparkly drops of water falling on me and chatting with Wiruungga about his life, rainbow missions and building bridges of healing and love between cultures.

Wiruungga travels around Australia in a rainbow painted coaster bus. He loves to travel and visit the rainforests, where he collects seeds and things to make jewellery. He visits different Aboriginal communities teaching them about permaculture and bush medicine. Bridging the gaps between the old ways and the western world.  Teaching the communities about gardening and growing foods. He also collects clothing to take into the communities and likened himself to an indigenous Santa Clause. And he really could be too!

It was even more amazing to meet him and hear about his life because my dream is quite similar. My plan is to get a coaster bus and fill it with fairy dress-ups, hula hoops and wing making supplies and spend time in the Aboriginal communities with the kids. I have always pictured the bus to be painted rainbow with sparkles and fairies. Wiruungga said that when I am all ready to get in touch and we could go in rainbow convoy! He can be sharing his wonderful gardening skills and I can be sharing magic, creativity and believing!!! So exciting!

We then came back down to the house and had some wonderful lunch. Wiruungga walked about the land looking for bush medicine. It was really amazing to see what he came back with! Lots of them are considered weeds! One little yellow flower that he showed me is good for the liver and he says he eats them whenever he see’s them. Then there is the blue top, which is prolific here. The flowers of that cooked up in a tea are amazing to prevent ticks getting on you when there is lots of ticks around! It was endless and I loved every minute of it!

I feel like we are kindred spirits he and I. He even has a hula hoop, a really big one and I would love to see him use it!

More evidence that believing works. There i was making wings on a sunny morning and like magic an inspirational fella turned up to get me feeling that my dreams are all coming true and that everything is so possible……..Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xxxxx
